Willard Pease

Willard D. “Skip” Pease is a Rockland native.  He is an honor graduate from Rockland District High School.  He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering from the United States Military Academy at West Point, New York.  Following graduation from West Point, he served in the United States Army, attaining the rank of Captain.  He was an airborne trooper and an Army Ranger.

Following his military service and three years in commercial insurance brokerage, Skip returned to law school.  He obtained his law degree from the University of Maine School of Law in 1982 and joined the firm that year.  Skip was a principal in the firm until 2001, at which time he established the Pease Law Firm.  He operated that firm for fifteen years before returning to Hanscom, Collins & Hall in 2016 as “of counsel”.

He has been very active in community activities, serving as President of Kiwanis, Chairman of The Salvation Army Advisory Board, Chairman of Ducks Unlimited, and Moderator of the Rockland Congregational Church.  He is currently serving as a Commissioner of the Baxter Park Wilderness Fund.

Skip has been recognized as an excellent real estate attorney.  He also practices in the fields of business law, estate planning and probate administration.  He has been married to his wife, Sherry, since 1970, and they have four grown children.  His longtime assistant is Trish Leclerc who can be reached at trish@fourlawmaine.com.
